HICK

i watched hick today. this goes in my top favorite movies. loved it, one of the best movies i've seen in a while. check it out, it's on netflix instant right now.

THE BAD GIRL BLUES

when i'm a little bummed, like i am today....i like to watch sofia coppola films. so i get the house to myself tonight, which is probably a good thing since i'm so snappy and moody. i'm going to watch my two favorites, the virgin suicides and marie antoinette, paint my nails, and eat my face off with sweets and wine. these films both have amazing soundtracks, so i'll share them...enjoy.

BLUE

blue valentine is just one of those movies that i fall on if i'm feeling a little down. it has this realistic feeling to it, it has it's ups and downs. i always end up happier after, so this is what i'm doing tonight. with a nice big glass of wine. enjoy the soundtrack, it's amazing. grizzly bear. ryan gosling. my girl crush, michelle williams. yes please.

re watching season 4 today at the office, thought i'd do a late music monday with the mad men soundtrack! i'm quite excited for sunday :)

IN A WES ANDERSON KIND OF MOOD TODAY

since i'm working today and unable to go home and relax with wes anderson films, like i want to. i made a mix of all the song i love from his movies. something about his films gives me butterflies, he's brilliant. i still have yet to see bottle rocket, this is being bumped up to the first movie i must see.

i enjoy watching his films, with the windows open. i nice whiskey and coke. bedding on the couch. nothing but natural light coming in the house, with a little kitty cat in my lap :) enjoy!
